The LP550 model is low profile emergency ballast that works with any standard device to help transform linear fluorescent tubes to emergency lighting. The ballast comes with a NiCad battery and charger and inner circuitry all in one compact pack. The battery is maintenance free and is rechargeable for 24 hours.
Our Bodine ballast makes it mark once the lighting system’s AC power goes out, then it immediately switches to emergency mode and provide lumination for up to 90 minutes of time. Once power is restore, and then the device automatically shifts to its initial stage. In addition, there will be a time delay no more than 5 seconds before regular order is restored, this is to prevent any electrical wire tripping.

Application: The LP550 will not affect normal lamp operation but in the case of an emergency, it will provide up to 90 minutes of light for your indoor or outdoor facility. It includes a maintenance-free NiCad battery, a charger with test switch (LED light indicator), and electrical circuit board. This ballast is also great for mounting within sealed and gasketed fixtures.
External Specifications: This compact sized ballast only weights 1.6 lbs and features a vertical and horizontal mounting center. There is also a test switch that features a LED indicator light to signal if charged.
