Product Description:
Those early mornings during the winter months can be brutal. Imagine driving through several feet of snow or icy roadways en route to your business and you’re met by inconvenient power failure. So, now it’s a matter of dealing with being in cold temperatures without electrical lighting. One way you could have avoided this is with purchasing our Bodine brand cold location electronic ballast.
The B50 Cold-Pak model provides compact fluorescent (4-pin) and linear fluorescent lamps with emergency power during those bitterly cold induced power outages. It works in association with an AC powered ballast to supply the bulbs with emergency wattage and voltage for up to 90 minutes.
Once normal power fails, this ballast will instantly switch to emergency form operating either one (1) or two (2) CFL or T5-T12 lamps.

Application:
The B50Cold-Pak may be mounted inside, on, or remotely to the lighitng fixture. Recommended remote distance of AC ballast is up to 50 feet from the lamp, for exact calculation please contact us. Not appropriate for use in either hazardous or wet location areas. It operates best with fluorescent tubes (T8, T9, T10, and T12) and CFL (quad pin) at wattages 17-215.
