The B50 Cold-Pak model provides compact fluorescent (4-pin) and linear fluorescent lamps with emergency power during those bitterly cold induced power outages. It works in association with an AC powered ballast to supply the bulbs with emergency wattage and voltage for up to 90 minutes.
Once normal power fails, this ballast will instantly switch to emergency form operating either one (1) or two (2) CFL or T5-T12 lamps.

Application: The B50Cold-Pak may be mounted inside, on, or remotely to the lighitng fixture. Recommended remote distance of AC ballast is up to 50 feet from the lamp, for exact calculation please contact us. Not appropriate for use in either hazardous or wet location areas. It operates best with fluorescent tubes (T8, T9, T10, and T12) and CFL (quad pin) at wattages 17-215.
External Specifications: This emergency ballast has a cast red aluminum casing that weighs in at 3.2 lbs. It's compact profile is fitted with a 12 inch mounting center, as well as, of an LED-charging indicator for continuous monitoring of battery, per UL Listing guidelines.
