The fire department has just declared your grocery store a death trap during the last inspection. Seems that some of the older emergency lights haven't had a battery change since the middle of the last century, and now the units are completely melted by leaking battery acid. But don't worry, you can still save time and money turning your high output T5 low-bay lights into backup units with Beghelli's 825 lumen 1 bulb emergency ballast.
How does the LUCE-8 fix your boondoggle? Measuring at less than 2 feet, this tiny steel emergency transformer contains specialized switching circuitry and a nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery that connects to your T5 or CFL fixtures normal 120 or 277-volt AC ballast. The result is a specialized luminaire that actually stays on during a power outage.

Application:
The LUCE-8 is specially made for 2-foot or 4-foot linear T5 or T5HO fluorescent units as well as most 4-pin fluorescents within a range of 40-55 watts. The battery pack can be installed in buildings during the initial construction phase or as a retrofit device later on. Ensure that your current unit already has a supplied conduit or ballast cover, otherwise, these accessories can be custom ordered.
External Specifications:
The LUCE-8 has a standard fluorescent ballast profile with an enclosed steel case. The unit is finished with a white baked-on enamel powder coating that repels corrosion. Input and output leads protrude from one end.
