The price of damp-location rated emergency fixtures is pretty steep and to install them you'll have to tear out a whole section of wall tiles. But did you know you can transform your current vapor proof T8 or T12 luminaires into emergency lighting with one simple addition? Its true with the  3000 lumen 1 or 2 bulb emergency ballast.

Developed by the lumiere maestros of Beghelli Inc.,  LUCE-4 is a UL Listed steel battery pack with patented circuit-switching technology, coupled with a sealed nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery. Just connect it to any normal 120 or 277-volt AC fluorescent ballast and voila! Your kitchen is now fully compliant.

Application:
Our LUCE-4 is specially made for 2, 4 or 8-foot linear T8 or T12 fluorescent units between 40-55 watts. This emergency battery unit may be installed in buildings during the build phase or as a retrofit unit. Before installation, check that your current unit is supplied with a conduit or ballast cover, otherwise, these options can be custom ordered.

External Specifications:
The LUCE-4  has a standard fluorescent ballast profile with a durable steel housing. The unit has a white baked-on enamel finish that repels corrosion. Input and output leads protrude from one end and the unit includes mounting feet for fixture attachment.

Cold Weather - adds a battery warmer to the unit that allows the ballast to operate in temperatures as low as 5° F.
Ballast Covers - linear fluorescent ballast channel cover protects the AC and emergency ballast from dust and moisture.
Flex Conduit - flexible electrical conduit protects the input/output leads.
